These plates have not been kept a year, we avaons had to buy others. I don recommadne this is not a product. Good quality, a little noisy in the ignition and the cooling of the plates. Fits well in a modern kitchen. 2 sets of plates, purchased at the same time, for 2 different homes:one fails after 5 months of moderate use, the other after 5 and a half months! it's been almost 3 years that I bought this product and I'm really satisfied!
